Note: two additional Mac specific changes:

1) It is now built with the very latest wxWidgets code.  This is mostly in preparation for moving to the soon-to-be released wxWidgets 3.1.1 version that we hope to move to for all platforms in a few weeks.  Please let me know if you find anything "strange" as it could be a wxWidgets issue.

2) The new wxWidgets code fixes a few bugs.    One such fixed bug allows the "Render All" icon to be updated to the hi-res "Retina" version.
