I have just down loaded the new software now my preview screen won't work, I have tried 3 different seqs.

Don't look at me I've been at work all day. :)
But I hear we have beautiful big icons now. Something had to go to make room for the new feature.

As you can see I have models I re down loaded 14 to see if it would work but still no luck any ideas
And the answer is, some where alone line in my model set up every one of my elements became unchecked as part of my display I don't know what made me check that ut passing along any info in case others experience this

That setting is in the xlights_rgbeffects.xml file. Every model should have an attribute like MyDisplay="1". I can't think of a way that gets reset by accident. I'd sure like to know how if this can be reproduced.

In the preview screen there is a section right above the models that allows making display groups. Every time you click in here all the my display values are changed.

+1 to Sean's note. Been there done that. I have asked for something like having a POD column on the models selection screen last year and it has never become a priority because once you screw the selection up you know better and never do it again.

I guess this just goes back to how you learned to use the program. I've always used the Model Groups to determine what is in my Preview. All the models you have active will show up as white in the Preview before you start playback. If you don't see any white pixels your not gonna see a sequence play. My top model group is called "Everything" and that's where I'm usually set unless I need to focus on something.

I don't recall hitting the model group icon, but that doesn't mean I didn't hit it, glad I figured out what was happening with it, maybe it can be changed so that if you do click on the group it doesn't default and remove part of my display check box.

What's been bugging me is the program seems to save changes even if you don't hit the save button. Just delete a model and close the program without hitting save and then reopen and I'm pretty sure the model is gone whether you wanted it gone or not. I had it happen when I was just deleting a model for demonstration purposes in a video and I thought if I didn't hit save it would still be there.
