Title: Interlacing morphs?
Post by: flyinverted on May 21, 2015, 10:46:16 AM
Gil,

Is it possible to have opposing morphs interlace? I can get the spacing and count just right, but with no apparent offset capability, they always start on strand one and meet in the middle.

Sample attached.  I'd like to be able to have one morph start on strand one, and the other on strand 2, then each side would interlace.  Perhaps I need to fine to tune the sliders, I'm stumped though at this point.

Sure you're in control of which strand the morph starts on.  For what you're doing it easiest to click the Link Points checkboxes on the Start and End tab so you won't need to worry about the "b" side of the vectors.  If you want the morph to start on strand 2 and you have 12 ribbons then set the X position to 100/12 and round up so 9% should do it.

I took some video last night so when I can process it I'll show one of the songs that has some really nice morphs and provide the XML to show how to set them up.
