I thought this might be useful.
I would like to be able to select any model or all models and export to a spreadsheet the channel count for each model and possibly what universe it belongs to. This would be useful to validate against the universe setup and to help keep track of used and unused universes and channels. Maybe just be able to export the channel layout in the test tab??

You can kinda do that now, maybe not the most elegant way but it works. If you want them separated by models though you would need to go into the test tab and put checks by say singing trees in this example and then save it as singing trees. You could then just open up your xlights networks XML file in notepad plus and all your channels would be listed followed by the model channels you saved in the test tab.

I would go to preview, then models and use the export to csv file. I've also found that a useful way to find overlapping channels, by loading the file into excel and then sorting by start channel.

I just opened the my nutcracker_rgbeffects.xml with Excel. The 7th column is the start channel.
Simple enough to add a column to determine the ending channel by multiplying the width x height x 3 + start channel. Once you see this in Excel it should be obvious.
