Title: New "tutorial" for Chases on AC lights (and other things)
Post by: dkulp on June 11, 2015, 11:37:39 AM
I just uploaded what was going to be a quick tutorial on how I do chases on some of my AC/Single Channel things, but I kind of got side tracked a few times and ended up showing a few other cool things and it ended up not so quick.  :-)    (and the door bell rang and I had to pause to go answer it)

Anyway, it covers how I have several of my display items setup to make it easier for me to apply xLights effects onto groups of single channel (or single node RGB like floods).   It also briefly shows some of the appearance things for floods, the new start channel  number scheme, some cool things that can be done with the "Single Strand Skips" effect, and more.

If you want to "play" with my setup and some of the sequences I used in the tutorial, they are available at:

Dan - thanks for the video. Very impressive. After watching, I'm ready to start moving my AC stuff off Vixen 2.0

Hi Dan,

Thanks for the video !!
Every few secs was a whole new ball game with what can be done..

These videos that you and Gil do are gems, without which many of the xl features won't be known about , to us new comers,... They are really appreciated as are Sean's too.
