With a sequence open and morph effect previewing on a model, if I then select "new sequence" and go through the steps of setting up a sequence, xLights is crashing hard when clicking "done" at the end of the wizard. No debug report is being being generated.
If I have a sequence open and no effect previewing, I can create a new sequence without an issue.
I can only recreate this crash when the morph effect is previewing (so far), multiple sequences.
I did get another crash when I was going click happy, but did get a debug report which I'm attaching.
Running under OS X if that makes a difference.

Hi Kevin,
Some other sequencers do not allow multiple instances to be open , but xlights does.
It used to not be a problem even a few weeks ago, but I suspect that recent enhancements may be causing a contention issue in some scenarios, if you have multiple sequences open as it tries to update to the same control file e.g xlights_rgbeffects (just my guess).

Could be, but in my case, there is only one instance of xLights running. I don't think multiple instances of the program is even possible under OS X.
Funny enough, I went to recreate this crash this morning and a debug report was generated this time. So it's attached here for Dan and Gil to look into.

Only from the command line. You can do "open -n -a /Applications/xLights.app" and a second one would open.

Looks like the Affects Assist panel isn't being cleared of it's state when a sequence is closed. It's still trying to display elements from the closed sequence. Definitely a bug.

Oh... Under windows it is quite easy. In fact of late it appears to me that xlights takes much longer to start up. So I double click again ( and again) and the next thing I know there are multiple versions open resulting in a crash after awhile . No debug but error on the rbgeffects file.
So now, am very careful...mostly.... :)
