Title: spirals
Post by: bpducman on August 05, 2015, 05:02:30 PM
Hello Mr Guru,

Did I miss something here. I use to be able to adjust the wraps, thickness and movement sliders in Spirals and see the changes in almost real time. now I don't see anything unless i render?

Are you using 4.1.13 ? if yes , there is a temporary issue (on Windows)

You can either go back to 4.1.12 or wait until 4.1.14 comes out.

As u see there is not a 4,1,14, the next release is 4.2.0. This indicates the major work Dan and Gil did on papagayo built in

Yes I am using it now... A little off the spiral topic.

I am trying to import what are 10 ac channels just on and off and tie them to 10  85 node bushs. when I do I can't find a way to alter the effect which is really none

I don't know what you mean by "alter the effect which is really none".

I have a sequence that has 10 ac on and off channels. I was turning on and off little multi color bushes. Now I have replaced the multi color bushes with rgb bushes.   If I use the import function and tie it to the node or strand I get an area thats turning  on and off but I can not change the effects.

I hope this makes sense now.

Do you see the imported effects?  Did you expand down to the node level to see them?

It was where I was creating the mapping
Sorry about that

I'm talking about after you finish the import.  You said you have effects but can't change them.  I need to see a screenshot or something.

I was tagging the strand and not just the model in the mapping. once I just tagged the model and not the strand or the nodes it works
