Title: 4.2.2 Start/End Channel New Feature
Post by: kevinp on August 21, 2015, 04:19:35 PM
Curious if anyone can explain why the start channel field turns red when I click on one of my models.  I have a very simple, and small, channel configuration compared to most.  All sequential, so there are no overlaps.  This particular arch happens to be the last model for my channel assignments.

Arch 1 4381 - 4560
Arch 2 4561 - 4740
Arch 3 4741 - 4920
Arch 4 4921 - 5100

Doesn't affect anything but I would like to know why.

Steve posted a trivia question/answer on the FB page on this question of mine.  I'll investigate to see if he's right.

Sean, here's the file.  I read Steve and Chris' FB posts to this and neither answer helped me locate my error.  I went through all my numbers and can't locate any overlaps.  It's only the last model (arch 4) and based on Chris' response on FB I wondering if has to do with the last channel?  But if that were the case, I'd think everyone would have their last model showing red.  I don't think it is affecting my display or sequences, so I'll just wait for someone to point out my silly error.

Going off of Gil's suggestion on FB, I added another channel to the end of my set up.  The red field did go away.  It looks like the logic isn't counting that last channel in my set up so it thinks I'm short.

You actually have 9 models, not 5 with some multi models for your arches.  Just wonder if that is impacting the logic in the program.

Gil examined the code and found that there is a equals (=) sign in the formula where there shouldn't be.  Just a little code error, doesn't affect my set up at all.
