I know that I have asked this before. Please forgive the second post. The way my school work goes (middle school band director by trade) I get these little segments of time that I can work on my projects. Unfortunately that causes me to lose track of a project and where it was left off. I cram in things where I can before the season ;-)
To the question;
I would like to transfer some LOR .lms facefiles over to Papagayo and then into xlights. I want to run these on my pixel tree. Is there a way to go about this? This is a 960 pixel tree, 2880 channels, 40 pixels high and 24 strings. 180 degree tree.
I REALLY would love some Halloween sequences that has some stuff already done that I could jump on. I would be MORE than happy to share what I already have. My Youtube channel is https://www.youtube.com/user/BurtonChristmasLites . You share some stuff I could use on that pixel tree, I would be happy to share what I have, or after I finish putting it together.
Thanks

Hello Robert,
If the Lor lms file is already done to suit faces, than it can be input as an effect straight into xlights using the input effects function .
I did this for one I bought a few weeks ago.
Is there another reason why it needs to go via Papagayo ?

Hey Gerry thanks for the reply.
Basically I want to take some of my "Faces" sequences (https://youtu.be/6y90gFLAkI0 (https://youtu.be/6y90gFLAkI0) ) and put them on my pixel tree instead of the coro pumpkin I have. That is the main reason. I haven't slowed down enough to play with some of the new stuff in xlights. I guess the effects function can be put onto the pixel tree? Can you point me in the right direction for this?

I don't know of any way to do what you're saying. Your current sequence is just triggering the channels for each element of the pumpkin face. For a ribbon tree you need an image for each of the facial positions. It's a completely different animal.

That is what I was afraid of. Guess I should start looking for Papagayo files then with the songs I want to put on the pixel tree then?

It really would be easier I think to use the papagayo built into xlights and drop lyrics there. U then can pick either Coro faces or picture faces. All of the problems of papagayo have been fixed in the xlights version (1 min limit, words spread across entire song instead of just a section)

Sean are there any updated videos on how to do this in the current versions?
