Title: Chase across AC (non RGB) elements?
Post by: danj on September 09, 2015, 08:53:47 PM
I am trying to do a horizontal chase across a group of AC (non RGB) mini trees.  I have tried many variations of single strand, bars, butterfly, others and have not come up with one that gives a good chase.  Any ideas?   thanks in advance.

I'll give it a look.   At first glance it looks like the video is specifically for RGB elements.  But I will watch anyway and maybe I'll see something I haven't tried yet!!!   THANKS.

If you create a model group with the objects that you're trying to chase, then drop the chase effect on that group, you should be good to go.  I have some LED minitrees that I have in a group and I can apply chases, fades, etc to all of them quickly and easily.  Watch the video referenced, but think of each pixel as an individual string.
