How do I edit multiple effects at once? I thought it was possible, but for the life of me can't figure it out. For example, if I have 10 identical effects and I want to change all from red to white, isn't this possible?
I checked the manual and forum and didn't see anything mentioned.

It would be great if there was an easy way to change the colors for everything at once. I've done it through the xml file. While possible, it isn't ideal.

For identical effect you've had that capability forever. Just select the effects, change the color, hit the Update button.

Ahhh, never thought to hit update. Thanks.

I think this only works if every setting on the effect is the same. I have a lot of chase elements that behave slightly different (left/right changes to right/left every half second or so). If I highlight the range of chase effects and just want to change the color using the above method, everything inherits the same chase order.

I think I did use the word "identical". We didn't put this in as a feature. It just happens to work this way. When you hit Update it applies the settings for the last effect selected to every effect that is selected.

Depending on the effects you are using and results you want you may be able to add a second color layer and use an Average blend mode to change the colors. For instance, if you had red effects for Christmas, you can add a yellow layer and change them to orange for Halloween.
