I am trying to create AC models in xlights to bring in all my LOR sequences but have not figured out how to create a window or roof line with 3 AC colors Red, Green and White with out creating a model 3 times for the window setting the color and channel numbers and placing them almost on top of each other.
Am i do this the right way or is there an easier way to do it?

For a straight line just make it RGB call it 1 node and enter some number of bulbs per node. For a window you can't do that with the Window model but you should be able to create a custom model using all 1's for the channel number so it should work using RGB nodes also. One RGB node will give you the 3 channels you need.

Thanks Gill I will give that a try

Thinking about this more I'm not sure you will want to do what I said. The problem is using 1 RGB node it would be difficult to control the individual channels because you would need to drop the proper color on the grid to control all 3 channels at once. I'm afraid the best way is to overlay multiple models like you were trying to avoid.

You could build an RGB model like Gil first mentioned. You would have to mentally switch White with Blue though when sequencing. A pain indeed, but it would work.

Yeah but I realized the problem is you may want to control each channel individually. That's going to be pain having to combine all 3 commands into a single color for each spot you want them to be different.

Thanks for the help guys!!!
