Title: Missing Backup Files?
Post by: danj on September 24, 2015, 08:54:00 PM
I wanted to go to my latest backup file (I backup about 3 or 4 times a week generally) to get a previous NC effect I had set on an element, but there were no files at all in my backup folder.   I backed up right then to see where the backup files were being saved, and sure enough the only file in that folder was the backup I had just saved.  Am I missing the boat here?   I was thinking if I had saved, say, 20 sets of backups, I could find 20 sets of backup folders.   Is this not correct?   Thanks.

The backup directory within your show directory then has a sub directory created per backup. Is there only one sub there or more than one ?

If only one , did u change your show directory recently ?

thanks Gerry.  I'll have to look when I get back home.  I am not sure.   I think the file structure is that there is a backup folder in my show directory, and I thought all the backup files went into that folder...  I have not changed my show directory recently.

Weird.   Only the one set of backup files is there.   Not anything I would ever touch except when I need to go back to a backup file for some reason (not frequent....).    I hope not some weird W10 thing...
