Title: Crash when attempting to render/save v 4.2.15
Post by: djmc2002 on October 10, 2015, 10:07:02 AM
Morning, Since updating to the 10/08 5.2.15 version I am getting a crash when I attempted to save with render or render only.  Attached find the  xlights_rgbeffects.xml and sequence.xml.  Ideas are welcome, was thinking of rolling back to the 9/27 ver.  Good idea, bad idea?  Thank you

Got an immediate error message when saving. I chose the Ignore option. Does not appear to be rendering.

Where did the ISEQ file come from? A manual conversion using the Convert Tab or was it a Data Layer import?

the data came from a data import.  It as I'm sure you can tell is LOR.  The odd thing is that I have worked on this seq  off and on for weeks and never had a problem until after the 10/8 update.  One time I have been able to render this since I posted this report.  Also I can save it without issue and can play it as I have been working on it still but most times render causes crash.  Thanks for your help!

You said you can save it without issue.  Do you have the quick save turned on?  Otherwise a save does a render.  It's likely nothing to do with the xLights version.

Yes after several crashes I turned the quick save option w/o render.  Did not want to lose the work but wanted to finish the sequence.  Perhaps might not be version but seems odd as I was working on this sequence for several days prior to new version without issue.
