I remember there was this option last year.  I couldn't find it anywhere in the new version I've just downloaded.  Is it gone for good ?

Welcome to the forum!

There is a similar way to do it but we haven't polished it to the level we would like it get to.  You can create a bunch of timing cell on a timing track and then with all your models on the grid select all the cells and either right-click and select Create Random Effects or I believe the hotkey is Shift+r.

This is not a lot different than xl3, but if you have a lot of timing marks, the random effects generator can take several seconds to do its thing.   I just wanted to give folks a heads-up on this--probably common sense....
