Title: Pixel Channel Count Spreadsheet
Post by: Bqmouse on October 22, 2015, 08:21:16 AM
I'm looking for the spreadsheet that you can keep track of the pixel channel numbering. Sean, mentioned it at the Expo. And I can't find it. Any help with a location or any info would be greatly appreciated.

There are dozens of spreadsheets.  Everyone uses something that fits their way of thinking and their layout.  There is not a single spreadsheet that fits everyone.  I have collected a number of them to look at from various forums and built my own.  Here is mine, there is nothing secret in it and notice that I am up to version 3 for this year.  I almost always change things as I am building props or reconfiguring where props are in the yard and what controller they are connected to.  That is why a spreadsheet is invaluable.

What about graphical drawings of all the hookups on a house?  I've seen one or two that looked really nice but I can't find where I saw them.

This is the one I am using. Firsttyear using a spreadsheet for keeping track of channels etc so will no doubt be some modifications over time. This spreadsheet was posted up by someone (can't remember who now) on the auschristmas site and I adapted it to fit my setup.

Best spreadsheet I've seen is the one referenced in this excellent blog post. Also some good physical layout tips.
