I AM NEW TO THE PIXEL STUFF AND HAVE READ A LOT OF THE DIFFERENT INFORMATION ON DIFFERENT FORUMS. I HAVE 6 SECTIONS OF VERTICAL MATRIX THAT WILL ACT LIKE MY PORCH RAILING AND BALUSTERS.
EACH SECTION HAS 18 VERTICALS WITH 26 PIXELS (2812B 5 VOLT INDIVIDUAL CONTOLLED) = 468 PIXELS PLUS ANOTHER 53 PIXELS T&B HORIZONTAL. MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO SET IT UP TO SEQUENCE, MEANING SHOULD I DO EACH SECTION DIFFERENT OR DO ALL VERTICALS UNDER THE MODEL?
ALSO KEEP IN MIND I AM NOT SURE WHAT PROGRAM TO USE TO SEQUENCE WITH I HAVE THE RIGHTS TO LSP,OLD VERSION OF LIGHT O RAMA, I HAVE BEEN TRYING NUTCRACKER/XLIGHTS AND HAVE LIKED THE TESTING SIDE OF THING, BUT NOT SURE HOW THAT WILL WORK BECAUSE I ALSO HAVE ABOUT 60-70 CHANNELS OF NORMAL LED LIGHTS. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL. HOPE THIS IS THE RIGHT AREA TO ASK THIS. THANKS

Can you draw a picture? How many actual strings of lights are you using? how do you wrap them? If you took your strings and cut them into 26 pixels each or if you take a longer string and wrap makes all the differemnce.
how many controllers and how many strings does each control?

This picture shows 1 section of what I am doing, there will be a total of 6 sections across my house. I had ray wu make special length strips with connects on ea end. so i connect them in a zig zag method(in the previews can you set a model up like that or does your controller have to tell it to zig zag up & down)
i am using the pixlite 16 controller to control 4 section and a j1sys p12s to control the others. also how would i control my LOR controllers if i use e1.31. do you just use the usb dongle and the e1.31 out of the computer at the same time?
