Title: Model preview brightness
Post by: ktrbmn12 on November 08, 2015, 07:44:47 AM
I have just add some new models and I noticed under appearance, the model preview brightness is gone. Can you adjust this still? And where?

It's under dimming curves, still within the model properties.

I thought the dimming curve was for the actual model brightness. I was looking for under layout tab, model, appearance tab, for the preview

Sorry, I misread.

It looks like the model preview window is always set to 100% now, no matter what the model brightness is set to under the dimming curves.  I did notice, however, that the house preview is affected to a degree based on your model brightness level.

For the most part, with the new "Dimming Curve" code, we are able to just reverse the dimming curve when displaying the model as it's all just straight pre-calculated lookups.  Thus, I pulled the model "appearance" brightness stuff out as the dimming curves work for both directions.
