Title: Nutz4lights Shared Sequences
Post by: nutz4lights on November 24, 2015, 07:22:54 AM
I'm going to attempt to upload my sequences here as they are done.  The first one I finished this year is Carol Of The Bells, which was one of the first sequences I did back in 2007 (which was provided to me by Richard Holdman and I modified it).

Attached are the files.

Preliminary video is here:

Enjoy, let me know if I didn't do something correctly.  I think the rgbeffects and sequence XML file are all that's needed.

If your rgbeffects file is the same there is no need to upload it twice.  i only downloaded it from the carol of the bells post and assume that it has not changed.

Thanks for sharing.

I think it changed a little because I'm still figuring things out with the display.  What is stored in that file again?  Stuff to do with the models?

models, layout positioning, grouping, effect presets, and other stuff that is common across sequences.

<the date on the rgbeffects.xml file changed again, so I'm assuming I must have made some minor changes.  probably best to grab the new one if you grabbed the old one previously>

Enjoy,

I've definitely been adding model groups, perspectives, etc too though... As I think of new things I want to do.

Here is another set of files for Linus And Lucy from A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio.

I don't think I changed anything in the rgbeffects.xml file for this one, so just attaching the xml sequence.

Enjoy,

Louie,
Thanks for sharing your work.  I am trying to use some of your linus and lucy work.  What version of the song are you using?  I can't seem to find one that matches up.
Thanks,

Gosh, I apologize... I guess I forgot that I had an edited version.  The standard version is around 3:00 and has a bunch of stuff in the middle of the song that I guess I didn't care for.  I'm not sure what the legalities are of sharing music like that are... I certainly won't post them here in public.  Maybe the admins can comment?

If you did the edit in Audacity and save the project file then I think you can share that file and another person could end with the same edited file.  For a couple of songs that I legally own and needed the edited version I contacted the owner of the edit and ask for the file on a one on one basis, However I personally knew the owner so that gave me some credibility that I was not lying.  It is so cheap to buy a single copy rather than to bootleg the song.  In any case I agree with not sharing on a public forum.

Sorry, I edited these in SoundForge and probably back around 2007 so the project file is long gone.  I would really like to get the audio out there somehow... Have to think about this some more...

Louie,
Which version of Let It Go did you use?  I've purchased 2 so far, and none have the 4 second breeze intro

I guess I've never listened to the mp3 I bought from Amazon.  I believe this was ripped from the movie clip itself.  I figured they would work interchangeably.  Sorry.
