Title: Sequencing a smart pixel strip?
Post by: patdelaney on June 25, 2014, 04:39:09 PM
I understand how to use the build in effects in NC for smart pixel strings, but I was wondering of there was a workflow comparable to what is in LOR with the timing grid and being able to make very granular changes to a strip.

For example: I have a 16' smart pixel strip that is mounted horizontally on the front of the house. I want to sequnce it with an audio file that might be like a heart beat.
I may want the whole strip to fade up and then down, all in one color in-time with the heartbeat.

I know how to do this in LOR, can it be done in NC?

Thanks

Pat

yes, have a row for each beat.
use color wash
BLACK
RED
BLACK RED

click the MORPH button on the right side. Now it will start with all black it will fade to all red and then fade back to all black
it will be matched to your timing marks.

MORPH can be used to fade between two effects
