Title: To edit a sequence on a different machine which files should I copy
Post by: Lightguy on December 01, 2015, 09:53:03 AM
Hi, I have a sequence on a PC that I want to edit on my macbook. I copied all the files in the show folder I created onto a USB drive, Which files do I need to copy to the Macbook? I copied the whole folder and can see and edit the sequence, but when I try to save it I get three error messages about unable to find other sequences with different names that were earlier versions.

At a minimum,  you will want to have the xlights_networks.xml, xlights_rgbeffects.xml, your_sequcence.xml and media file (for musical sequences) copied over.  Make sure to set your directories within xLights and place those files in that location.
