Title: Re-render will forget starting corner
Post by: deonb on December 18, 2015, 02:04:08 PM
Known issue?

Inside the Layout, if you add an arch model, then change the starting corner from e.g. bottom left to bottom right, the preview will take this change and reverse the arch.

However, if you then click "render all", it will render it again as if the starting corner is bottom left. It doesn't change the setting - just ignores it.

delete the fseq before you re-render.  That may just be a workaround, but if it gets the job done......

You also must save your models in the layout after you do that.

I was investigating a similar issue today and I can't find his post but found this one.  This is a bug.  When you switch the corner for a model it's not supposed to reverse the direction of all the effects.  It may look like it has but only because you haven't re-rendered after making a model setup change.  If I define a morph to go from left to right it's supposed to go left to right no matter which corner is defined as pixel 1.  The whole idea of defining the corner is so that we know how you have it wired up to your controller which allows us to write the data out backwards to maintain the proper direction.  I found no bugs with the way the corner is working for the arches.
