I have used LOR but have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm lost in your question. Can you go a little more in depth? I would be thoroughly shocked if xlights can't do something that lor pe can.

Well I think I just guessed that PE means Pixel Editor? I had no idea when I first saw that. The pixel editor was created from the original xLights code so I'm pretty sure whatever you are doing is possible. I just need to know what you mean by a cross fade. Do you mean fading from one effect to another?
-
Correct Gil, PE is pixel editor. I'm with you, if pe can do it, so can xlights.

Yes pixel editor, and yes fade between effects. Not necessarily a mask per se but a cross fade where one dims while the next starts

Here's the manual. I would read and get familiar.

Why don't you post a video of what you want. If pe can do it, do a video of pe doing what you are wanting.

I believe the morph checkbox will fade from the upper effect to the effect below it. I never use it. If I want to do that I create it myself using two layers and effects on each layer. I overlap the effects how much I want them to overlap and I type in the starting and ending fade values I want. You just need to experiment.
