I'm using a MacBook running the Mac version of Xlights 4. Im still learning the program but I've been finding it really hard to scroll the sequence left and right with the touch pad when I'm zoomed in as it scrolls much too quickly causing the screen to overshoot in both directions. Is there a way to fix this? If not could a fix be added that will either provide user selectable scroll speed or better yet, maintain the same scroll rate in perspective to the original zoomed scroll speed while zoomed in?
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Sorry, I just got back onto my computer and found the scroll speed is overall too fast. Zoom makes no difference to the speed it's just less likely to overshoot because of the larger footprint viewed. I just wanted to correct that so there was no confusion.

How are you trying to scroll i.e. does it involve grabbing and dragging the scrollbar or is there some two finger method you use on a Mac?

This has been on my todo list to look at for quite a while. I keep just zooming out, clicking roughly where I want to be, then zoom back in.

I use a two finger scroll, although a scroll bar at the bottom would be nice to have too.

Thanks dkulp, it will be a welcome change when you get to it. Thanks for your efforts!

We discussed this last year and someone said to use an app called magicprefs but I just can't find the topic at the moment and have to head to work now but will try to find it tonight.
It fixed it for me.
