NOOB. I am going to try to switch from LOR to X/Lights for my 2016 shows. I currently have 2 CCB100 from LOR and 3 CTB16.
If I want to run my pixels in X/Lights, Do have to run them in DMX Mode? I saw somewhere that the number of LOR channels are limited running in LOR mode.
If I do have to run them in DMX Mode, How would i set it up in the Setup tab? I know very little about DMX. I do know that each pixel is 3 channels in LOR. When I build a Custom Model, do I number it, 1,4,7, or do I still mark each box 1,2,3? I think if I can get past this, the rest will click.

I can't offer any help, just wanted to say welcome. Leaving lor was the best decision I made...hopefully the same for you.

I am new to Xlights (have been using LOR since 04) and also have some CCB that I would like to drive via xlights , has the original poster been successful? (I know he has not been on in a while)
I have E682 for driving pixels and have found a video where one output is used to drive LOR controllers, could it also drive a CCB control?
Thanks

Yes we can drive many interface types including LOR networks and E1.31. The main pain with a CCB is that the controller is in the middle so I believe the channels go 50...1..Controller...51...100. You would need to either draw a custom model or use 2 models to define that.

When I switched from lor the money I got when I sold all the lor stuff was almost enough to buy all of the pixels, controllers, etc. One option is to sell your ccbs.

U can get into the Lori hardware utility and switch the string to go 1-50 controller 51-100

Good to know. I was basing it on how another user told me his channels were numbered.

Yah they come numbered like that from LOR. Dunno why lol. When I had LOR I just flipped em all so it would make sense
