Title: Custom Model DIY Tree with single color led chains.

H there,

i will create DIY Trees, which 5 Single Color (blue, red, green, mixed and purple) LED chains has, each wound with 100 LEDs in 10 meters.
The Chains are wired at a 27 Channel DMX Controller.

With xLights i wil turn on and off the single chains per Tree.

Is it possible, to create a custom tree model? at the moment,  i have no idea, how to make it :-(.
or must i create a custom model per tree and per chain?

There's a video out there for this, but a video isn't necessary.

1. Make a single line, single color model for each one of the AC legs.
2. Put the legs next to each other like this ||||||||||| on the layout screen.
3. Make a model group that contains the AC Leg models named "AC-TREE" for example for the model group name.
4. Apply effects that will "spin" the legs like "Bars" and "Single Strand Chase" to the "AC-TREE" model group.

I'll keep looking for the video.
