Title: Pixel tree custom model
Post by: Larry_OK on January 26, 2016, 02:15:41 PM
Anyone have a custom model for a pixel tree?  I'm trying to create one  to add into my whole house model and I can't get it to look right.  Mine is 12x50, but any size will work, as I can edit it.

Thanks!

There is a standard model already for pixel trees. It will ask you for those numbers.

I have two different sized pixel trees and use the built in model for a 180 tree.  Works great.  Why go thru all the work for custom?

Unless I am missing something, you can't put a premade pixel tree model into a whole house custom model.  I am wanting to add it to my model of "everything" on the house and yard, so I can apply one effect to everything.

Again, I see no other way to do that other than on a complete model.  Otherwise I would need 20+ of the same effects on every single model.

Why can't you add it? Have you tried?

OK, forget the whole topic.  As I said, unless I was missing something.....  Groups!  I just discovered them.  I got rid of my whole house models and grouped everything according to season (Halloween and Christmas).  I'm kicking myself for not discovering the groups earlier.
