Title: Completely LOST!!!!!!!
Post by: rcolving on March 04, 2016, 05:24:16 PM
I am a LOR user and want to import last year's Sequences into xLights and then add some pixel features to the sequences for the coming year.  My LOR sequences do not have pixels just dumb RGB and lots of AC lights.   Total of 6 LOR CTB16PCg3 controllers and 4 CMB24D Controllers.  I've watched every video I can find and read as much as I can find but can't figure out how to import these Sequences into xLights.  Just about ready to give up and stick with LOR. I am so frustrated. Anyone with lots of patience and willing to help me through I would appreciate it.  I've attached one of my LOR sequences and what I have in xLights so far.

Have you joined the xLights Facebook group?  There are a few experts there on bringing over LOR sequences and they've posted videos you can find if you look in the files for the group.

Yep I'm a member of those and looked at all the videos and they all show how to import LOR pixel sequences to xLights. I can't find anything about the AC channels.

First thing is to create the models to receive the effects.  There are many options for how you want to arrange them so it can come to personal choice in how you like to sequence them.  You can create a model that has several channels and each channel (node) is one of your A/C strings or you can make each A/C string its own model.  You can create model groups that contain several models.  So there's no one right way to tell you how to do it.  I can't believe no one ever showed creating a model in any of the videos.  Instead of RGB nodes you just select something like Single String White.

If you can find Richard Renn on Facebook (xLights Group) and get a 30 minute session with him via Team Viewer, I'd highly recommend that. I can help you too, however I've been really really busy lately.
