Title: Help needed
Post by: keithsw1111 on March 11, 2016, 05:59:24 PM
Guys I need some help. I am working on a new test tab which will give you the ability to navigate and set channels via controllers, models, model groups and even node levels.

Problem is my display is all E131 and NULL channels and I need some sample setups who use USB controllers ... both single and multiple universes. I need the networks and rgbeffects xml files.

If a few users could post them for me that would be helpful.

Keith

Even though you didn't get any replies, the new Tools->Test window came out pretty nice.  Only find one minor bug (posted over on github).
Thank you for doing this!

I am slightly surprised that no one responded to this and the fb request  :(

Didn't the same thing happen with a request for help from Dan last fall?  Eventually a few responded.  I'm in the same boat as Keith, all E.131 and adding some NULL channels this year.  So my set up won't help.

Sorry I cant help either but I'm all E1.31 as well but do appreciate the work you have been doing with the 2016 releases, there have been some huge leaps forward.
I cant believe that no one has helped out but I'm sure you will find out who uses USB controllers when they start having problems with future releases. ;D

Kinda doesn't matter because he already made the changes to the test tab and its in a release so if you didn't send files to help and the changes broke your setup then too bad...lol.

Keith,
I just saw this and I have some USB channels in the middle of my sequences that drive some arches.  I will post them when I get home.

Rather than posting them the best thing is you just test them yourself.  See if they show up the way you expect in the new test dialog.  Keith is working on other great things for us.
