Title: Short Throw--Long Throw
Post by: Greg.Ca on March 31, 2016, 07:22:37 PM
I must admit, I don't have a clue when it comes to projectors. The throw ratio is listed at •Throw ratio: 1.15–1.5 (100” at 2.5m)

Don't have a clue what that means. Can someone explain it to me??

A short throw projector covers a large area while being positioned closer to the screen. A long throw projector requires a greater distance between the lens and screen you are projecting onto.

Decide where the best location for a projector will be. Things like trees or foot traffic. Then decide which lens you'll need. Some short throw lenses have problems with straight lines.
