The Hollow % is awesome! I need to compare how this will behave compared to my custom spinners. You guys rock!

Well we do rock ... But really what happened was someone nicely asked and we had some time on our hands.

Well, I can tell you I just replace my custom models with this new spinner and it looks much better and now I have better control of effects by telling it to start center counter clockwise.
Can you do a leaping reindeer next? If you do I will change my LEDs to Pixels. LOL

Is anyone having trouble running the program after installing this.......I was running version 35 and installed version 37, but when I try to run the app there is nothing is showing up in the task manager. I uninstalled and tried with 36. the same thing holds true. Reinstalled 35 and lauched app and it was fine...Any Ideas

Usually it's a perspectives problem. Look at your xlights_rgbeffects.xml file at the Perspectives section. Does the name listed as the default perspective actually exist. There was bug where if you renamed a Perspective it didn't update the stored name for the current perspective. The bug didn't cause a problem in older versions but some new changes were more sensitive to that issue. You can either delete the perspectives section and relaunch or fix the names to match.

Agreed on the perspectives issue.
I renamed my one and only saved perspective to do a video and never renamed the perspective. All worked fine with -35 but I had more crashes than a deep south demolition derby with -37.
Renamed my perspective and it's been smooth now.

Not sure if I am in the right area. I have attached the file for someone to check for me.
Thanks Zane

Yep it's what I told you. You're current perspective is named "Default Perspective" but the only perspective available is named "Elements". Either make the names match or delete the whole section and we will create a new default one.
<perspectives current="Default Perspective">
<perspective name="Elements" settings="..."
</perspectives>

I noticed that the descriptions for all of the 2016 releases since "03" say BETA. Are these all really still in Beta? If so, when will they reach official "RELEASE" status? Just curious how how the Alpha, Pre-Beta, Beta Release progression works.
-
The beta label started this year because we had made so many changes in january. Most Software do 1-2 releases per year we will do over 50. You could run your Christmas show on any of the current releases. I will probably take the beta label off by mid july.

Welcome to the forum marshall. I'd use anything we call beta or release. There's not much difference between the two. Either one has pretty much the same chance of having an issue we don't know about. Now when you see us call it pre-beta and we don't let everyone have it then you know there are major under the hood changes that have us crossing our fingers. 90% of our users always install the latest version even when it's labeled beta. Usually the kind of crashes you may encounter don't destroy any work as long as you save periodically.
