Xlights 37 crashes when I click on the video. I did not have this issue with 35 and older versions.
Computer Windows 7 Pro, Intel i5, 64 Bit

Psychic debugging mode on: Logs dont tell me exactly what the problem is but I would guess 1 of 2 causes:
1. The video file C:\Users\ITPhoneTech\Documents\xlights\Media\What's This\What20.mp4 does not exist.
2. The program has an issue with the ' in the directory name.
I will need to debug it tonight (or at a minimum add some checks and handle failure more gracefully)

Yeah I saw the apostrophe and said you're asking for trouble.

I checked the video file, .mp4 file and found issues with the video file, as you stated above. When I would click on the effect with the video in my sequence to change the video or even delete the video and start over, I would get the bug error and xLights would close. I found that if I drag & drop the video effect from effects & drop it on top of the existing video effect in my sequence it would not shut down and I was able to start over on setting up a know working video. I saved the changes in my sequence and close xLights. I reopened xLights clicked on video effect in my sequence and played the video in my sequence and I did not receive any bug errors and xLights program stayed open.
Thanks for your help,
Chip

Next release will have a fix that stops the crash. Fixing the video is your challenge.
