Title: Save Docked Windows Layout

I'd like the ability to have xLights remember the layout I last put my docked items in... Every time I load xLights I find myself spending 5 minutes just getting the GUI in  some form that I'm comfortable in.. (everyone has their own preferences) and I;d love to have xLIights store some settings somewhere that remembers where the last place I put some docked element and put it there when i reopen the application.

That's already a feature.  Read the user manual about "Perspectives".

Well I feel silly... been a software developer for 15 years... and never considered the ui layout a perspective... so honestly i thought that was something else...  But every application and their developers use a different terminology... :)

We didn't create the terminology.  Perspectives are a feature built-in the wxWidgets cross-platform library we use.
