Setting up lights for the 4th. I have 7 Univ programmed up. When I connect the lights 6 of the univ come up and flash G/R/B and 1 univ flashes B/R/G. I can move the univ this is backwards to a different univ and still same backward colors. Can you set each univ to a different color comb output. Got this color order by going thur the test mode on the controller. Any help, my time is running out.

Which version of firmware is on the device? I had similar types of issues when I used the device out-of-the-box, prior to upgrading the firmware.

Firmware 1.04 Nov 2015
The thing is it moves with the light strip. Can you program each univ with a different color sequence.

1.04 isn't the most recent version of firmware for AlphaPix, version 1 (at least, I don't think so). However, I'm not sure that is the problem (my problem exists with AlphaPix, version 2).
But I don't know how you would assign different universes with different color sequences. Instead of assigning through the test mode, are you able to connect/control through your browser?
-
Yes no problem connecting thur web browser. But it looks like you can change color sequence but it for the whole controller not each univ.
-
And now you have another reason why the F16v2r is such a great controller.
-
Switch the alphapix16 from normal mode to test mode and run a test. Use the + or - to change the colors. If the controller says red and green shows up.. Your strands are not RGB..
this happened to me with 48 strands.

If you move the light strand from one SPI output to another and get the same results, then it's most likely the string of lights is a different R G B order.
Alphapix Firmware 2.0 is the first to allow you to change R G B color order by SPI output (not by universe). You need to check this page: https://www.holidaycoro.com/kb_results.asp?ID=114 (https://www.holidaycoro.com/kb_results.asp?ID=114) and verify which version of the Alphapix board you have. If you are running a 1.x version of the firmware, then I think you must have a version 1 of the board which does not support different R G B output by SPI. That ability came with the version 2 board in September of 2015. The version 3 boards came out in March 2016.
Now here is the good news. As long as the RGB string(s) in question are on one prop, and not connected with a different color order string of lights, just change the RGB order in xLights for that prop.
