Title: Can't calculate Start Address
Post by: stampedeboss on July 01, 2016, 11:51:13 PM
I receive a message whenever I use the relative start node:
Could not calculate start channels for models:
Window Frame 1: Top

Window Frame 1: Top was setup with a start address of "END of MODEL":1

This sounds like you have a start channel set to ">END of MODEL:1" and there is no model called "END of MODEL".

Click the elipses and use the dialog to set the start channel correctly.

If you attach youd rgbeffects file we could provide more complete advice.

Yeah the problem is we were using a ":" character for the output:startchannel notation and you decided to use it in all your model names.  That's why never use special characters in names it's just asking for trouble.

Need your help in understanding how it finds the available models when a name is changed.  I went through all of my models and removed the ":" without concern because it's always let me map it to something else, but now it is not showing all of the renamed models.  They are all mapped to the default preview but the rename list is empty.

This regardless of using a windows or linux .39 version, I've trued both
