I'm getting a crash when I change the # of strings per strand on a tree model above 2 and click on node layout. I tried different sized trees with no issues as long as I didn't change the strings per strand above 2. Thanks!

Same here - and I'm still on ver 3.4.4.

please post your xlights_rgbeffects.xml file and tell me the name of the model it is happening on. ill see if i can duplicate the crash

There are four tree models - 360, 270, 180, and 90
I tried them all (in 3.4.12), saved, then went to Node Layout and got no crash.
What other parameters? number of strings, etc.
Mine was RGB Nodes, 16 strings, 100 Nodes per, 2 strands per string, start channel of 1, Bottom Left, not part of my display.

I can't duplicate the crash that is why I need to see xlighrs _rgbeffects.xml
Maybe some combination causes the crash I don't know about

hi donny;
i have now verified the crash.
it happens when the number of pixels on a strinf atr not evenly divisiable by the number of strands.
the crash occurs when you do a node display.
ill look into it

thanks
