Sorry if this has been asked already - couldn't find a post on it.
Whilst the autosave feature is great and has saved my bacon a few times, is there a way of turning it off.
Only reason I ask is because I am sequencing a song (Light of Christmas) and I bought and imported the megatree 12 strand sequence. However, because of the imported effects, xlights takes a lot longer to save and render (about 90 seconds) and so with the autosave function turned on, the program freezes every few minutes or so which I am guessing (but I could be completely wrong) is due to the autosave. Any way of turning it off just for doing the sequence so I can see if it is the autosave or not. I turned off "render on save" but didn't make any difference.
Cheers

Oops. Stupid me. Just found it. :P

Hi Logan
Under Settings second from the bottom is Auto Save it can be disabled or set to 3,10,15 or 30 minutes. I have mine disabled because I save when I want to and as I'm on a Mac like I think you are I rely on my Time Machine to save my bacon. ;D

I see you found it while I was replying

Did you import the SS sequence or the LMS? Usually the SS version wouldn't take that long to render.

Ooh heck, I can't remember now. I'm pretty sure it was the lms file.... I think.
Did it a while ago I'm afraid.

Time machine replaces backup ... Not auto save.

Keith what I was trying to say was that I usually need to resort to a backup to save MY bacon from one of my self inflicted disasters, not save
