Title: save and render imported files
Post by: bpducman on August 10, 2016, 06:21:15 PM
When in Ver 2016_43 I can activate the save icon and  will save and render all files. In Ver 2016_45 it is not rendering and saving the imported lms files, it is rendering and saving all xlights effects.

Are you trying to say its not including a Data Layer?  LMS files can be imported multiple ways.

Just tested data layer rendering and it seems fine.

I will try again tonight but last night i would save and it never showed rendering the data files. I could tell because it saved way to fast. when I look at the sequence tab the data was there but all white when i touched an effect it would render that effect.
Let me try again tonight.

thanks

If it saved way too fast make sure you have Render On Save checked in Settings.

Hi Gil

It has something to do with the mapping I am using.

If I try to use or make a fresh map and tic the channel bar it is not showing me the 12 or 16 channels to choose from it is only showing me DMX CCR0 or DMX CCR1. If I use a saved map it will import but I can't get it to render.

I know you are swamped.
Whenever
Brad

Ok using mapping to import is not creating data layers so I was looking in the wrong area.
