I have a pinwheel made from 12 incandescent candy canes (6 red, 6 green alternating). These are of course single color, A/C controlled.
I created 2 spinner models each with 6 for the # of strings and 1 for the arms/string, overlayed them and rotated one model 30 degrees. The LOR sequencing this came from saw channel1 as red, channel 2 as green and so on.
In the model I used the Individual start channels so that I could alternate the arms 1,3,5,7,9,11 as red and 2,4,6,8,10,12 as green.
In sequencing I can see the 6 nodes in each model but when I apply the "ON" command to as single node only one arm will light up (same one) regardless of which nore I place the effect.
Am i missing a step or understanding of the spinner model. What I've read seems most are using it pixels.
The model may be designed for pixel use and single color strings are not what it should be used for...
In which case I can simply design one with custom models...
Just asking...

Can you post your rgb effects and I will try to look at it tonight. It should work.

Thank you Keith... I really appreciate your time in looking at this ...
I originally had the channel assignments as u#:c# and changed them to absolute .
The universe in this case in universe 1 (the attached A/C controller is an A/C DMX Minleon box.. Don't think that matters but wanted to explain the channel assignments)
Attached is the RGB effects file.

The good news I can reproduce the problem. The bad news ... not sure if i can fix this on my own. I have packed up a simpler version of it and shared it with the other developers. Hopefully we can get you a fix in v46.
