Is there a way to add a couple of lines in face definitions to allow input of the base separately and the eyelids when using pixels
-
How would the faces effect then handle the base colors?
Just make a separate model for nodes 1-26.
-
How about separate eyelids or would you just ignore them
-
I suggest you wait for v46. In it will be sub models and all your problems will be solved.

For my singing snowman, I had several different faces defined for the various combinations. The mouth positions were set the same for each face, but the "outline" would add the Hat or the Scarf or the buttons or similar. For the "Faces" effect, I could then just select which of those definitions I wanted to use.

Very possible and I'm doing it, without multiple models. I thought about the multiple models, but figured out how to do it with the faces definition since I didn't want multiple models.
So, I have the very bottom of the base yellow, the threads of the base white, and the bulb outline red (or any color).
This lets me create multiple layers and using one model just define the different faces.

But don't you have to use separate FACE effects for the main bulb and the base? And that method only works when using a Lyric track, right? If you import an 8-channel Faces sequence not using a lyric track you still have to have 8 models to apply it too, right?

Can't answer. I've only sequenced in xLights. I see what you're saying though.

I think the bottom line is now we provide several options. With the new sub-models feature you should be able to easily import sequences that were 8 channel not using a lyric track.

This is what I'm excited about!!!

I did not see a way to force color on the sub model ???

Works great. Just double click the main model in the sequence.
