I am starting to do some sequencing in xLights. I don't seem to be having a problem now with the RGB lights. When trying to sequence the incandescent lights I am running into an issue.
I have a group called ROOF. It has all of my incandescent lights that are on the roof. If I sequence using that group there is not a problem. But if I try and sequence the individual models they do not show up on the House Model or the Model Preview.
What I have tried: I moved my files off of google drive. I have them there so I can work on xLights when I am at home and when I am away on my laptop. This did not help.
I am on version 2016.46.
On a different note. I am also experienced a bunch of crashes when trying to change items that are in my groups.

It sounds like from other posts that the problem of xlights crashing when I mess around with the Groups is a known bug. But I can't figure out why I can't get my incandescent models to display in my preview when I sequence them as individual models. It seems to work if I have them grouped together. I don't know if it an error I did making the View or something else. I am going to try and attach the files I think someone would need to help. Thanks again.

So when you say you are trying to sequence as individual models that's not specific enough. Are you dropping the effect on the model by itself or did you expand a group to get to the model? It should work both ways but I just wanted to know how to reproduce the problem.

Sorry for not being more detailed.
I have four models. Roof 1, Roof 2, Roof 3, and Roof 4. If I drop an effect onto any of those 4 models I see no effect. I also have a Group named Roof which contains those 4 same models. If I drop an effect on those I do see the effect on Roof 1 through 4. I am not drilling down in the Group named Roof and trying to put the effects there on the specific models (although I tried that and it did not work).
One correction. I originally thought the problem was with all of the incandescent lights. But it is only the 4 roof models.
I am sure I have set something up incorrectly. I am currently looking at my network settings. The roof models happen to be the very first channels.

A better statement is that some of the incandescents have this problem and some don't.

In your sample sequence, the On effects for the Roof things all have fade in/out values that are greater than 3 seconds. Since none of the effects are even 3 seconds long, nothing really gets displayed. Change them all to 0 and it should display fine.

Now why could I have not seen that. Thanks for helping the new guy!
