Title: Can't Delete Effects
Post by: djohnson1810 on September 01, 2016, 01:23:53 PM
I was converting effects from one sequence to another.  I have one model I changed my mind on and would like to delete the effect that I previously imported in.  I can't seem to accomplish that.  The effects look to me like it is a data layer.  I can even right click on the model and click PROMOTE EFFECT.  I can then delete the effects but when I render they just come back.  I have also tried reimporting with that model blank.  No joy.

Here is a screenshot.

Go to the Sequence Settings dialog and delete that Data Layer.

Ok then you don't have one.  The data is coming from a channel overlap.

Yep.  That was it.  Those shadow models can be tricky.

Thanks!
