Title: Software Slow Rendering Sluggish.

Just installed the latest version of the software...

Thinking I need a system hardware upgrade now?

I am running Windows 7
Intel Quad CPU @ 3Ghz
NVidia GeForce 9400 GT ( times 2 Displace adapter cards ) 4 x DVI out ports.
8 Gigs of Ram.

Older versions of the software run fine.

Any Ideas?

I am afraid we are going to need more than that. Maybe package your log files and post them.

Try changing the   autosave time from 3 minutes to 15 minutes, Don't know why , but in another post was suggested , changed mine and render/save times improved by a third (still  one sequence took 240 secs to save/render and now under 50 secs), Hope this may help

Check sequence will tell you if it thinks that you should change your auto save frequency based on your sequence size.
