I think it would be nice to be able to change the color of the sparkle in the color select window.  and a cut tool would be very handy.

I don't even know what a razor tool means but it sounds like an idea I'd shoot down anyways...lol.

A razor tool is so you can cut an effect in two or more pieces to divide it so you can put another effect in between and keep the settings on both segments.  Its used in video editing and other light editing programs.  Its a nice time saver>

Not really useful in xLights because you can do the same thing by just inserting a layer above the effect and dropping a shorter effect over the longer one to mask out that section.

Add me to those who would find a razor tool enormously time saving. Sure, I can do just about everything I envision with multiple moves of some kind, but a simple slice would make things so much quicker. Plus, the learning curve for all those varied techniques would be easier for those of us coming from video and audio editing. Please consider adding the ability to slice an effect anywhere on the time line with a simple key stroke.

How about this? Give me a razor tool that works to MY specs, and I'll put $100 USD on the donate button.

Hard to get me excited over $100 that will end up split several ways.  The guys that really want stuff done have figured out a better method.. :)

I just reread this exchange and would like to publicly apologize to Gilrock. It's very difficult to ascertain tone of voice in text messages. I knew exactly what pew pew referred to and took it the wrong way.

I also failed to check the age of the subject before barging in. Worst of all, I assumed Gilrock could be bribed.

I am now flogging myself.  :(
