Title: Convert Last Years LOR-LMS
Post by: bhagan77 on October 12, 2016, 10:11:28 PM
Hey all,

Having a heck of a time converting last years sequences I did in LOR.  I am trying to switch totally to XL this year rather than creating my effects etc then importing them in to LOR.

I have a bunch of LMS sequences. It looks to me that I have to convert them to FSEQ?  I don't need to edit them or anything, and new sequences I have done in XL.  I just want to be able to play/run my last years LOR files in XL or FPP etc.

I am all over the place in the PDF manual and still not sure what I am doing.  Any help or videos etc that anyone can point me to is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you click on the Wiki link above and then under Quick Start Guide you click on Tutorials then scroll down to "Importing into xLights" there are several videos.

Thanks all, I got it all straight.

Just one problem, I have 4 nodes on my roofline that import no data.  It's in the LOR file I checked, channel map is spot on, no conflicts etc.  Just 4 nodes no effects transfer.

Any way to troubleshoot?

Thank you!

How are you bringing in the LOR data?  Is it a Data Layer or Import Effects?

I am doing import effects and choosing the lms file and then load the channel map. I made another post and posted screenshots and my channel map but can post here also. Thank you for the help.
