Using the "Start Scale", "End Scale" settings of the Pictures effect in v.51 seems to be broken. Noticed this after rendering an existing sequence with the latest version. I am using the Picture effect with no changes to the "defaults" except the End Scale is set to 50. Start Scale is at 100 which I believe is default. Changing the Start Scale value does seem to change the "zoom" of the graphic but the End Scale value seem to have no effect. I have tried two different computers with the same results. I also tried multiple graphic files and putting the effect another model. I can provide files if needed but this seems to be easily reproduced without files.

What version were you using, meaning what version were the existing files created in?

Not really sure. I believe I started this sequence in August some time. I usually keep current with versions so it looks like it would have been forty something. Don't think this is relevant though as I just created a new sequence to test and the results are the same, changing the End Scale value on that tab in the effect settings for the picture effect does nothing.

I haven't installed the latest version, so maybe someone who has can verify.

You gotta uncheck Scale To Fit since it overrides those sliders.
-
Scale to fit is NOT checked. Movement is set to "none". Movement speed is 1.0 Frame Rate Adj is 1.0. Offsets In Pixels and Shimmer are not checked. Start Position and End Position sliders are all 0.

Well I took a guess based on the info given. It works last time I tried it.
-
Works in 50 for me but not 51. Certainly not something I can't live without but thought I would report what I was seeing.
-
Ok well that's a different report. You said it started in August sometime. If it was 51 that caused it then I could buy that because I haven't tested half the changes that were pushed into it the last couple weeks.
-
Are you using a GIF? Most of the latest changes I thought only affect GIF files.
-
Not a gif. File is a .png. Also tried a .jpg when I was testing with a newly created sequence.
-
I think I broke it. I elk take a look tonight.

Fix will be in v52

Thanks

related to this....
Can Scale-to-fit get an option to "maintain aspect ratio"? When I try to use the scale-to-fit option the image is all distorted like silly putty,
not a bug but a nice enhancement if your'e in there tweaking the code :)
