What effect(s) do you use to get a spinner to spin? Also start in the center with one color and radiate out other colors.
Know these are probably easy ones, just having a little finding them.
Thanks

It depends, what model are you using. I use a custom model. I can send you an example if that's what you are using. If using the spinner model, I can't help you but others might.

Try playing with the buffer settings.

In the models: Set # of strings to the number of arms, and set arms/string to 1.

That was the fix. Thank you.

So which effect actually makes it spin? Can you tell me which one you used?
Thanks,

I second the question of how to do anything interesting with the built-in spinner model.
I've tried all the effects, but most of them just look random. Even the single strand effect lights up 2 arms of the spinner at a time and then flips to the other side instead of chasing.
From reading I see that I can use a matrix, but that defeats the purpose of this newly added model.

I believe there is a bug in the spinner default model but this won't change until after Christmas. Use a shadow matrix model to make it spin.

I use custom models for my spinners. My spinners have a center node, so I couldn't use the spinner model if I wanted. I can post some examples if interested, but keep in mind they will be for custom models.
