I want to fade an effect "in" for something like 10 seconds in one row, then hold the effect at full intensity for the next 8 or 10 rows keeping the effect at full intensity, then fading out the effect in the last row. I am thinking the right way to do this is to fade it "in" in the first row, then copy the effect for the next 8 or 10 rows at full intensity with zero fade, then copy it in the last row & fade it out.
Is this the correct way to do this??
Thanks.

I did something similar with color wash from blue to red.. then color wash just red, then color wash red to blue on the way out.

Yes, this sounds good. For fades I find the. Morph check box is better than filling in fade in and out times. If you have two rows ten secs apart, morph fade between the two rows over ten secs

Thanks for the responses!! I will try the morph command. I haven't tried it too much yet, need to learn it. I appreciate the info.
