I'm going to start off by saying...I already know I need to just use xLights instead of LOR...
I'm using xLights to build my effects and the convert them to LOR sequence. From there, I copy and paste them into my exsisting LOR file. I've already completed several but I get to a couple of songs that I want to update and I receive an error message when trying to open the file in LOR.
The message states "An exception occurred! Type:UTFDataFormatException, Message:invalid bytes 0, of 4-byte sequence.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks

So then just do it already. ;D
Sorry, couldn't resist. I don't have any useful info for you. Hope you get it working.

Sorry I don't know. I've seen some files fail and some not from the same setup. Hard to know what LOR doesn't like about the file. They don't give us any help when we try to reverse engineer their file formats.

I'll keep digging then!

If post the xlights_rgbeffects.xml and sequence xml file I can try it out.

Helps to mention which version of LOR sequence editor you are using.
