Andy,

Are you able to run your LOR hardware using the LOR protocol? Or, are you running them in DMX?

Ive done them both ways out of xlights. Being that I only have 6 LOR boards with no intentions to buy anymore "best laid plans of mice and men" I just left them on the LOR usb 484. If you have more than 6 LOR controllers you will want to run them in DMX mode.

Just make a simple LOR to DMX crossover cable and get a e1.31 to DMX bridge like the J1sys D2 or DIYLED expresses or the older RPM model etc.

That setup would look like this............

So how do you run your show with a LOR dongle and some on an e3.31 connection?

In your xlights setup you select usb > LOR and add it to your xlights output setup............

Nice can you heat the ends up and bend them to make a candy cane?

Grrr looks like dropbox banned my account again for to much usage. Oh well the pics will come back in  hours or so.

LOF You might could heat them up and bend them but would probably be an expensive way of making candy canes. Those meteor tubes are 2812 pixels double sided so they are a bit higher priced than just normal strip.

H, I didn't think you could, I certainly didn't want you to wreck a perfectly good meteor tube on my behalf.  :P
